Most people tend to keep the earlier anniversaries on an intimate level although if you both love parties then there are no etiquette rules that say this must be respected.

The larger anniversary celebrations tend to be for the major anniversaries such as the Silver (25), Pearl (30), Ruby (40), Golden (50) & Diamond (60) weddings.
